The season 5 finale saw the brokerage throw a champagne goodbye party for Maya Vander, who said she won’t return as a full-time cast member, Heather Rae El Moussa marry Tarek El Moussa, Vanessa Villela's boyfriend Nick give her a promise ring, and real estate queen Christine Quinn bow out of the series.

And they weren’t the only stories to wrap up, with Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim, who embarked upon an unexpected romance at the start of season 5, pulling the plug on their romance for good due to their different views on having children.

Despite this, the pair seemed amicable upon their return to the show - and both are dating new people!

But, judging by a preview for season 7, it looks like there could be some tension next season for lots of the Selling Sunset cast.

As Selling Sunset airs on Netflix, read on for everything you need to know about Jason and Chrishell's relationship, including details on their current love lives.

Are Selling Sunset's Jason and Chrishell still together?

Jason and Chrishell are no longer together. The pair called it quits after five months together as Jason revealed that he didn't want to be a dad.

Events shown in Selling Sunset season 5 took place before their split, and episode 10 sees Chrishell telling Emma Hernan that they have broken up.

It comes after Chrishell and Justin talked about having children and fertilising eggs she'd had extracted.

In episode 8, Chrishell says: "I got a call from Dr Wong, and he said that we could expect our results this week. I'm a little curious and a little anxious - the same with when I got my eggs extracted.

"It's just, like, how many you're going to get and the same with this. I know people who have done it before and none of them took or they didn't survive"

"Or if we do get one, is it a boy or a girl," Jason asks.

"We should know very soon!" she then replies.

He adds: "I think about this so much. I have never been with a better woman and felt so happy and comfortable in a relationship. That part - there are many considerations that I'm going through - but the part about you, that's off the table because I already know you'd just be an exceptional mum."

Later in the season, Chrishell meets with her sisters, who question her about fertilising her eggs with Jason without him confirming whether he wants to be a father or not.

Revealing that they haven't started the fertilisation process just yet, she says: "So we've had many conversations. It's just that at this point, he is not 100% sure if he's ready to say, 'Let's implant and have a baby.'

"I think right now we're just trying to be smart about time, and in that time, using it to see what he wants. I don't want you to think, because I know how I've been in the past, I'm not this naive person putting all my hopes into a jar. I'm really not."

However, later in the episode, it looks like Jason has had a change of heart as he tells Amanza and Mary: "My priority is to be a great boyfriend to Chrishell, but she wants me to be a dad too. She was very clear from the beginning about that, so I'm also spending a lot of time thinking about that and the potential responsibility for me.

"I don't know. I wish that the pendulum would swing in one direction, so it'd be clear for me. When I have a kid I just want that 'I really want this ' feeling, but the pendulum is just not going over there. But I don't not want to with Chrishell."

And in the final episode, Chrishell breaks the news of their break-up to Emma, saying: "I mean, you were just with me and Jason and everything was going amazing.

"Obviously he knows that I want to have a baby and it's something that we've taken a lot of steps to get there, just meeting my doctor and so many steps that we went to, so I was like, 'Wow, this is real. This is happening.'

"Anyway long story short, he just told me that he doesn't want to have a kid, so as much as this hurts me to say, I've been clear with him about my needs – we are done!"

At the Selling Sunset reunion, which aired on Friday 6th May, we saw never-before-seen footage of Jason speaking to Mary about his break-up with Chrishell and how he felt a lot of guilt over the break-up.

"The more than I thought about it, I went in the other direction. I just felt like this is not the time in my life where I want to have a family," he said. "I feel like I f**ked it up, I feel a lot of guilt. Because we were happy and I f**ked something up that was really good and she's in pain and I caused that.

"[She's] the love of my life and now I have to deal with probably watching her be happy with someone else and have a family and I'm probably going to never meet someone like her again."

Later on in the reunion, we learned that Chrishell was dating someone new – non-binary singer-songwriter G Flip. Chrishell appeared in G Flip's music video Get Me Outta Here and the couple got married in May 2023.

Are Jason and Chrishell still friends?

Despite Chrishell's concerns at the end of season five on how they'd be able to work together, Jason and Chrishell are amicable. Chrishell returned to the office in season 6 after working from home for a period of the time.

They also met for dinner where they talked about their new relationships with much younger people. Jason, 46, is in a relationship with 25-year old model Marie-Lou Nurk, while G Flip is 29 and 12 years Chrishell's junior.

Jason also congratulated Chrishell on her marriage to G, writing on Instagram: "I am SO excited for this!! You and G are the most inspiring couple and the affection between you both is so pure. I love you two tonnes and am so lucky to have you both in my life.”

Following Chrishell and Jason's split in December 2021, Jason said: "While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support one another.

"She was the most amazing girlfriend I've ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life. While we have different wants regarding a family, we continue to have the utmost respect for one another."

A trailer for season 7 hinted at some more tension between Chrishell and Nicole, who complained that Jason had brought Chrishell into previous deals due to his romantic feelings for her.

In the clip, which was released at the end of season 6, Chrishell can be heard saying: "I knew something was wrong" before the video flashes to a scene of Jason and Marie-Lou together.

Emma Hernan then says: "On so many levels" as Chrishell breaks down in tears.

Who is Chrishell dating now?

Chrishell is married to Australian rapper, G Flip.

The pair wed in an intimate ceremony which was officiated by an Elvis impersonator.

They met in October 2021 and have been very open about their budding romance since making their relationship public in early May 2022.

Chrishell confirmed their relationship during the Selling Sunset season 5 reunion, saying: "I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that's very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They're non-binary, so they go by they/them. And they are an extremely talented musician."

She added: "It started because I was just going to be in their video. And it's about this chaotic love story. I come from soaps, I love acting. And with the job that we have, I don't always get to do it. At first of course I was like yes, let's do that."

The couple now live together, post lots of loved-up posts on their social media and have even given each other tattoos. G also had a brief cameo in season 6 of Selling Sunset.

"It's just a minor cameo," they clarified to Vogue back in February 2023. "It's not like me and Chrishell taking on the Sunset Strip. Nah, it's just like… in a couple of episodes. Nothing major. It's going to be cute."
